This unique collection was featured as the cover story of North South Trader's Civil War, Volume 32 No. 4. 2007.

I am proud to present this collection of CSA currency, once backed by "King Cotton," and rich in the pride, honor and tradition that is the South. As a collector you know that opportunities to own rare high grade notes like these are few and far between.

Fourteen years ago when I had the opportunity to purchase a T-35 "Indian Princess," I sought the advice of a well-known Confederate currency dealer who quoted me a value considerably less than the asking price of the note. When I asked if he could get one for me at that price, he replied, "No, I don't even know where to find one or when one might become available."

It's easy to give an estimate but there are many other things to consider. If I had accepted his face value opinion and concluded that, "it was too much money" back then, I would have missed my investment opportunity and a chance to own an Indian Princess, one of the most famous, rare and legendary note of the entire collection!
